Bioconnect Cleaning
Bioconnect recommends periodic cleaning of cable and lead wire products with a mild soap and water solution such as Ivory Soap and household-strength Lysol brand cleaner/disinfectant. Solvent based products may dry out the insulation on cable and wires and shorten the life of the products. For this reason alcohol based solutions or other solvents should be avoided. Wipe first with a cloth dampened with the cleaning solution, then re-wipe with a cloth moistened with water only to remove any residue. Avoid contact of cleaning solution with any metal components and do not immerse the device in the solution.
Not all products produced by Bioconnect are compatible with current autoclave or other sterilization methods i.e., EtO, Gamma. Please call Bioconnect for recommendations prior to subjecting any Bioconnect manufactured device to harsh sterilization environments.
